Our mission as a team is to promote recruitment, development, and retention of service-driven employees. We continuously strive to be more progressive, innovative, and customer service driven to effectively support the departments and customers of the Town of Swansboro.

The functions of this department include recruitment, selection, training, career development, position classification, compensation, salary and benefits administration, personnel records management, risk management, performance management, and employee relations. The Town Manager will ensure that all employees are treated equal and apply all the areas of human resource management in the day-to-day operations of the Town.
