Mission

The Administrative Services Department exists to provide comprehensive information and top-level support to the Board of Commissioners, Town Manager, town departments and the public for the purposes of conducting operational and administrative town business, historical preservation, and implementation of governing body policies to make Swansboro a town of the highest standard.

The Administrative Services Department is responsible for providing leadership, planning, administrative support and information dissemination in implementing the goals, objectives and policies of the Governing Body and town departments.  Functional areas within the department include the Town Manager, Town Clerk, Planning/Zoning, customer service, and revenue collections to include but not limited to: building permit issuance, beer/wine licenses and operations of the ONWASA satellite office.
