The Town of Swansboro is currently seeking applications to fill a vacant Commissioner seat through December 2027.
The role of a Commissioner is vital in shaping the future of our community. Commissioners are responsible for making important decisions regarding town policies, budgets, and projects, ultimately striving to enhance the quality of life for all residents of Swansboro.
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about our town and possess the skills and vision to contribute positively to its growth and development. If you are interested in serving as a Commissioner, or if you know someone who would be a great fit for this role, we encourage you to apply or nominate them.
To streamline the application process, we have established a Talent Bank where interested individuals can submit their applications. Please click here for the application. Applications must be submitted no later than Wednesday, March 19, 2025 by 5 pm, and must be submitted to the Town Clerk either by email or can be hand delivered to Town Hall – 601 W. Corbett Avenue. Submission details are included on the application. All submissions will be reviewed and a selection will be made by the Board of Commissioners at their regular meeting on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 6pm. Those interested must meet the requirement of being a resident of Swansboro and a qualified voter of the town.
